We had our last class of Dream India Patterns and Action2020 weekly classes for this academic year at Adyar corporation school today.
We started our classes here in 2008, been NINE long wonderful years. It was absolutely fitting that we had Partheeban B Parthy and Poornima Premchandran, two important backbones of Dream India, who were instrumental in starting the classes back then to conduct classes along with Aswaq Asu and myself today.
We had couple of activities on English that helps children figure out tenses and an interesting puzzle on math. Kids who performed well were given special prizes by Poori and Parthy.
As it was the last class of the academic year, we also had children cut cake and celebrate the arrival of happy holidays ahead.
Overall, the session was absolutely interactive and kids enjoyed learning so did we the volunteers. We have couple of months gap now to revisit and plan for the classes that are to start from June end.
