Project AnnaViruksham
One meal a day for children’s homes and old age homes. Weekly snacks for rural government school children. Started during Covid, this project now brings donors from across India to serve children in need. Serves 22+ schools and partner homes every single day without a break. Approximately 1,50,000 meals served in FY 2024–25.

Project Annalakshmi
Morning & evening tiffin for 10th standard children during board exam season — ensuring no child studies on an empty stomach. Dream India team receives requests from Government High School Headmasters and staff to provide special tiffin & evening dinner to all 10th Standard students during their public exams.

Project Diwali For All
New dress, sweets, kaaram and sparklers provided to over 4,500 children across all our schools, homes, study centres, and partner institutions — including the Sri Lankan refugee camp, Vaiyavoor Study Center, and Bangalore Study Center. Every child deserves to celebrate Diwali with joy.

Project Vidhya-Aadhaar (Educational Scholarships)
Educational scholarships for economically challenged children from school through college. 200+ scholarships worth ₹27.17 Lacs disbursed in FY 2024–25. Our scholars come back as volunteers — Ms. Vidhya A (DI scholar since 4th std, now handles DI backend) and Mr. Prasanna (now a Chartered Accountant and DI volunteer) are proud examples of this circle of giving.

Project Vidhyalakshmi (Study Centres)
Weekly classes in mathematics, science, personality development and drawing. Centres active at: Adyar CHS (18th year of service!), Kannagi Nagar Community Study Centre (Session #143+), Vaiyavoor Rural Study Centre, Mumbai Study Centre, and Bangalore Community Libraries.
Talent Festival • FY 2024–25: ₹7,56,123 (6%)
Project Thiramai Thiruvizha
Annual talent festival for children of government schools and homes: elocution, essay, drawing, quiz, Thirukural and cultural events. Monthly school-level events followed by a grand yearly event in Chennai for winners. Now in its 18th year (since 2007/2008). View Thiramai Thiruvizha page →

Project Dhairiyalakshmi — Support the System
Dream India supports government schools through comprehensive measures: setting up computer centres (infrastructure), paying stipends for teachers (staffing), celebrating and honouring wonderful teachers (recognition), and conducting exam counselling sessions for students attending board exams. Holistic support ensuring schools thrive beyond just feeding.

Project Reach & Teach + Educational Tours
Varaiyalam Vaanga (Art Sessions) — Honouring Ms. Tharani: Dream India conducts art sessions at schools, inspiring creativity in children. Educational Tours: Rural children are brought to Chennai and other cities to visit libraries, planetariums, and corporate offices — helping them understand the world beyond their villages and inspiring them to dream big.
