DREAM INDIA SUMMER TRIP

14 Students from Kannagi Nagar Study Center went on a trip to Kanchipuram on this Monday (26/05/2025)

    First, they all went to the Kailasanathar temple in Kanchipuram with Vaiyavoor volunteers. The youngsters were thrilled to hear about the temple’s history from the guides.  Children engaged in games on the temple’s grounds.  They next went to one of the silk saree weaving units in Kanchipuram, where kids could observe the saree-making process.  

    After that, kids visited our Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. C. N. Anna Durai’s Memorial House. Then, the children went to the coconut grove to have lunch, take a pumpset bath, and take in the village’s natural beauty.  Finally, they went to the Vaiyavoor Study Center, where the children from the Vaiyavoor and Kanagi Nagar Study Centers spent some time watching Tom and Jerry before returning home.
