Project Vidhyalakshmi – Bangalore Study Center

Dream India team conducts weekly classes for the children of government schools and our own study centers in various places under Project Vidhyalakshmi

We had the session on October 14th & 15th, 2023 of the weekly classes and Mr. Christopher alone handled the classes.

We had our two sessions of this weekly classes. Just back from school they were scattered all over the place with the excitement of being home early and the excitement of what’s new or what’s in store for them. Chris gave them numerical figures and they write in words, in English against figures. However, this did not happen. They desired games this afternoon and saying games today and tomorrow studies, test etc., etc. The next day session starts with eight of our young talents. Three younger ones kept busy with a game, ‘Let’s Learn Spellings’. Older ones learned the spelling of eight primary languages spoken in India. Numbers in figure was shown to them through phone calculator and they were asked to say in words. They were tried. They write the figures in words. 100 points achievement is still a long way. Wound up the session with a doc on A Stage Play by some school in Bangalore. Having the students with these kinds of activities to boost and improve their knowledge with fun .

We have been able to sustain and continue the classes, only because of the wonderful support from all the well wishers and friends
